Euro-Info Centres are information offices established on the initiative of the European Commission to satisfy the information demands of small & medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in matters concerning the European Union and the European market.

On the recommendations of the Macau Government and under the auspices of the European Community, the Euro-Info Centre, Macau (EIC-Macau) was established in 1992. EIC-Macau is restructured in 2007 and becomes a relay office of the Instituto de Apoio às Pequenas e Médias Empresas e ao Investimento (IAPMEI) in Lisbon, Portugal and is the first Euro-Info Centre to be established in the Asian Region. At present, EIC-Macau is jointly managed by the Institute of European Studies of Macau (IEEM), Banco Nacional Ultramarino, Macau (BNU), Macau Trade & Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), and IAPMEI.
